Update 18 - NaNoWriMo 2023
NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. It takes place every year in November. The original goal of NaNoWriMo was to encourage people to write 50,000 words in 30 days. That averages out to around 1,670 words per day, which is a more than decent writing habit.
I’d like to hit that kind of consistency in writing True North. October 19th marked the fourth year of me messing about with drafts and notes. I’ve spent most of this October getting my notes in order for this November. I feel it’s time to commit. I’m going to aim to finish one of the stories within True North in the month of November, maybe some more depending on what the final word count is.
I’ve signed up on the official website and will spend most of today straightening out the last *checks notebook* 36 pages of bullet-pointed, unplaced notes.
