Update 24 - Snowed In
Golly I can’t wait to live somewhere that doesn’t have five months of winter. The snow had been merciful through the end of 2023, but as ever it takes its due in January, if not February. For two days, it has been snowing sideways. It’s also a long weekend, thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King Day. I’m hoping the snow lets up tomorrow long enough for me to help dig us and our neighbors out. The winds have been so persistent that there’s not much point in trying to shovel anything right now. It’s like a frozen desert- it’s cold and dry.
I got a chance to play Minecraft with my good friend C. and her husband. We use that game as a way to catch up and hang out, paired with a discord call. It’s pleasant, and I’m really grateful for that branch of my own little family.
Not really much else to say. I’m working on True North, but back to a re-outline condition. I have a plan, I just have trouble moving in straight lines.
